Nearly 100 people came to the party. Perhaps because of the cloudy weather or competition with Wimbledon, less people attended than said they were coming. Once again, we thank Ian Jarvis and Ken Hickling for cooking the barbecue. Michelle and Alistair Walton volunteered for the children’s games. Millie Law has acquired new skills and did the face painting this year. Sadly the tug-of-war rope was not available. A football match rounded off the afternoon.
