During one of the cold snaps in March, someone from our local food bank asked if any friends could help with supplies, since demand was high and supplies were low. I popped a note through houses in Ethelburt Avenue and Bassett Green Road, and within hours loads of food arrived on my doorstep, some having been specially bought, and some from a raid on individual larders!
The picture shows about a half of the haul.
The recipients as well as the food bank staff would want to thank you and so do I.
