A planning application has been made for an address in Leaside Way to replace the steel windows, so unpopular with owners, with look-alike aluminium double-glazed windows.
Manufacturers of windows are good at producing hard-to-understand detailed drawing of sections through their windows. They are not so good at producing drawings and photos which tell a planning officer what he most wants to know: “What will the windows look like when viewed from the outside of the building?”. The applicant was still waiting for these, when time ran out and it looks as if resubmission will be necessary.
