My husband’s 60th birthday party on 7th February obviously upset someone in Ethelburt Avenue. We would like to address this by saying that we did not realise how far in the road we needed to inform people of a party. Friends from the top green and neighbours both sides and opposite were at the party. We have been here 9 years in June and feel one noisy party could have been tolerated rather than put on the front page of the Newsletter, chastising us like naughty children. Far better to have knocked on the door and discussed any problems like adults.
