At the most recent road maintenance working party, John Dixon asked me to take on the role of co-ordinator for these events in future, to allow him to stand down.
Let us all thank John Dixon for his efforts during 16 years in co-ordinating these groups. The condition of Ethelburt Avenue has markedly improved under John’s quiet and careful guidance. I hope all in the road will join in thanking John for all his efforts in organisation and enthusing folks to get involved. John intends to remain involved in the working parties.
